Moving into or out of a home with smart home technology? We can reset up to 10 devices of all types (TVs, smart thermostats, monitoring systems, etc.), so you don't have to worry about a different owner being able to get access. Do you just need a fresh start with some of your devices? We can get them back to square one, even if you didn't purchase them at Best Buy.
Before we begin
During the pre-call for your service, we'll ensure that you have the login information for your devices and that you have either direct access or a mobile device with app access to your devices.
We'll reset your devices
We'll perform a factory reset on up to 10 devices of your choosing, even if you didn't purchase them at Best Buy. This can include smart TVs, smart home devices, monitoring systems, automation systems and many others.
Final steps
We’ll confirm that you can no longer log into your devices and that any non-app-based device is at the initial setup screen.
*Service does not include Wi-Fi setup/troubleshooting or the installation, uninstallation, removal, setup or configuration of any devices.
