If you're a fan of the series, pass on this game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this game because the game box led me to believe that it would be a lot like the old TMNT Arcade Game of old. This game however is nothing but awful. I spent my time on this game running from the left side of the screen where every level starts, all the way to the end of the stage on the far right. While running you will encounter enemies that are the same on every single level dropping from the sky, no more than 3 at a time. You take control of one turtle at a time, however you have to pick a NPC turtle to accompany you on the different stages. Doing this kind of turns it into a competition between yourself and your NPC counterpart which I didn't find to be enjoyable at all. Boss fights are way too tough, most of the time you're not able to get close enough to do any kind of damage which means a plethora of continues that you'll have to use just to advance. All of the turtles more or less have the exact same moves using their respective weapons. All in all the graphics are great for a DS title but that doesn't makeup for the rest of it's short comings. I would not recommend this game to anyone that I know and it had let me down so much that I doubt I'll finish it at all considering it's button pushing on an infinite number of levels with a very limited number of moves or attacks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
