Thousands of years ago, two titans of unimaginable power, Arun and Shara, met in a formless void. They lay down and dreamed the world and its inhabitants into existence. As they slept, Tera formed around them, their two sleeping bodies becoming the two continents that bear their names. Arun and Shara first dreamed of twelve creatures with godlike power. Next, they dreamed of less powerful creatures that were far more numerous. Arun dreamed of ambitious elves, clever humans, honor-bound amani, powerful giants, scheming devas, and mischievous poporis. Shara dreamed of sly sikandari, dark gulas and vampirs, fierce wendigos, strange faeries, and serpentine nagas. And thus Tera and its terrible conflict began, turning this new world into a place where gods scheme, armies clash and the everything changes in the blink of an eye.
