I went into this not really knowing what to expected, i had seen the trailer and thought Gah, Kelly made another SAW franchise, they even included the Saw twist theme in the trailer, Really? Anyways the movie followed the trailer, for about half an hour, then outta left field, completely different movie. And its a good one too, something a tad different, but i was totally into it. A Sci-Fi mystery that had me thinking, what the heck is going on, which is what a good mystery is right? Acting, meh. Visuals, YES! All in all, a solid 4, but now one of my favorite movies NP

      Not worth it.

The movies plot was very interesting at the beginning, but midway got very confusing. I was wishing it was over way before it actually ended. I love sci-fi, thrillers, great drama, action, etc., but this movie was none of the above. It couldn't decide where to go, except in circles. I saw this in the theater and it's not worth a rental, much less a purchase.

Can be a little hard to follow at times & seems to raise questions that aren't answered. But being such a big Donnie Darko fan (by same director), I was able to follow fairly well, and understood most of the imagery this director (Richard Kelley) seems to gravitate towards. Overall, good flick but skimpy extras on DVD.

This movie did not make much sense. The plot could have been stronger. My friends and I found ourselves feeling like we missed something. It appeared to start out going in one direction, then it seemed like the director changed his mind halfway through and went somewhere else.

The Box follows Richard Kelly's movie style of weird & confounding movies. I really loved Donnie Darko. But this and Southland Tales have taken a step back or maybe it'd be nicer if he made alittle clearer movies. :)

This movie made no sense at all. The story just seemed to be all over the place. I honestly would have walked out if I hadn't been with a friend who didn't want to waste her money.
