awesome show
First watched Avatar, the last airbender (the show not the movie) which drew me to this show; it's by the same creators and serves as a follow-up to the original story. The first two books were great, but this season by far has been my favorite. Not only do the cinematics always deliver, but the story has been expanded well to create character development and progression. Great show, and not only for kids b/c most themes are adult: corruption, world domination, struggle for power, self discovery, etc.

An excellent bridge into Season 4
Many fans believed that The Legend of Korra took a misstep in its second season. I am not one of those. I felt that the second season did a great job of showing the audience the motivations and personalities of its characters.
The third season is certainly a step forward and sets up the next (and final?) season. More Avatar is a good thing.

LoK Season 3 Delivers
I really loved Legend of Korra. The series was my main introduction into the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe. I had put off watching the show due to my friends simply overhyping it, but after deciding to buy LoK Season 1 on bluray, I was hooked. Season 3 is definitely one of the stronger seasons w/ great action, comedy, drama, and character interactions. Highly recommended!
