It's great that there's leprechauns. But the story itself is so unoriginal. It's basically a retelling of Romeo & Juliet with leprechauns. But if you like fantasy movies, that might be what you're looking for. Romeo & Juliet is a great story, so why not steal it? And you can say they even made it better because Roger Daltrey is in it. But beware - it's very predictable and can therefore be boring. I do think Whoopi Goldberg was wrongly casted in it. Actually, it seemed like there was no casting agent involved in it at all. It's almost as if they just randomly threw actors into the mix. But the acting wasn't the problem. It was the poor special effects. But this was made for TV. If you like fantasy miniseries, (there's a lot of them out there), then you probably want to see this one just because. But otherwise, you're not missing anything. If you're looking for a fun fantasy miniseries, I'd recommend the 10th Kingdom.
