Big fat Warning!
First, let me say that this was a great movie. I'm not really into the Smurfs, but I loved this flick. And I'm a dude. That said, it really irritated me to find that the DVD version won't play in many DVD players. I bought the 3-pack combo initially for my wife since it had the Christmas Carol (couldn't care less about Blu-Ray). Then I found the DVD wouldn't play in either my Toshiba or Philips players, both of which are excellent players and play other stuff just fine. I returned the 3-pack and got just the DVD version - same thing. I did eventually get it to play in my old Philips DVP-642 player, which plays just about anything, but be warned that you may run into problems.

No digital copy
I won't address the quality of the movie, my daughter enjoyed it well enough. My problem is that this package had a label indicating that it included a Ultra violet digital version, with instructions inside about accessing it. No such instructions were included, and after searching around a bit, I found that ultra violet streaming doesn't work on anything and no titles are available anyway. I guess this review could apply to any disc indicating an ultra violet digital copy.
