A great buy! I've always been a fan of the old Universal Monster films. I own the previous Universal Monster box set, which includes some films here. The Frankenstein box also holds duplicate films. As Universal rolls out more updated legacy box sets I assume there will be more overlap, which seems to bother some people, but at the pricepoint it really doesn't matter. What you get here are the complete classic Universal Wolfman films, each looking and sounding better than before. While this might not be a great fit for everyone, it's a must purchase for any fan of the classic universal monster films.

Perfect set with great transfers. All the Werewolf & Wolf Man movies from Universal Pictures Classic Monster era -- Starts with the 1935 "Werewolf of London" and next goes to 1941's "The Wolf Man" and the 4 Frankenstein films in that series that also featured The Wolf Man (1943-to-1948). The least of their 7 werewolf films was the 1946 "She Wolf of London" which is also included (and it is not bad but don't look for any cool monster in that one). A great set to own for any completist fan and great for any Halloween.

What a wonderful set. Throughout the years I purchased and re-purchased these films. Now, for the very first time, all of these films are beautifully remastered. The Wolf Man and Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein are the same as the Universal 100th Anniversary edition - the highest quality version of these films ever released. But now, add to it Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, House of Frankenstein and House of Dracula, plus Werewolf of London and She-Wolf of London - all remastered. It's a must own. Highly recommended.

This collection is essential for any fan of classic Universal horror. Every classic Wolf Man movie appearance is here (as is Werewolf of London and She-Wolf of London). There are a lot of bonus features for the original 1941 film and for Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein. The A/V quality of the Blu-ray set is very impressive for how old these films are! It was a treat to watch these at Halloween time.

I remember loving these movies when I watched them on TV as a kid. All of the movies are good but my favorites are the original Wolfman and Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein. Abbott & Costello always cracked me up, one of the greatest comedy teams ever. Lon Chaney Jr. is just awesome as the Wolfman. Some folks like vampires and zombies, but I will take the Wolfman any day of the week. This is a great blu-ray set.

Wow - Universal Home Video really delivered with this Blu-ray collection. Excellent Video & Audio - these seven films have all been lovingly remastered to some extent. They look GREAT. And yes, as everyone points out there is sharing/double-dipping of titles between this set and the Frankenstein one. But, with Best Buy selling this for $14.95 it is an automatic purchase for me. Very pleased with this set.

This wonderful Wolf Man legacy Blu Ray set contains restored films of all the Wolf Man appearances made in the Universal horror cycle of the 1940's. The films look crisp and better than ever! Other films on the set including Universal's first werewolf title, THE WEREWOLF OF LONDON (1935) and SHE-WOLF OF LONDON (1946) also look fantastic, although they are not restored.

This is a great collection of the Wolf Man movies at the $15 release price. Universal has done a great job restoring these classic films. The original Wolf Man and Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein films are worth the price of this set alone! I'd definitely recommend this set to any Wolf Man fan or classic monster movie fan aficionado.
