  I know that a lot of people are skeptical of this band, simply because of who is in it, but this album is something that will blow you away. The band covers different sounds and techniques that they've only teased us with before. It incorporates deeper, touching lyrics. When vocalist Jared Leto sings about pain, you can *hear* it. When he questions, you can't help but answer back. Starting from the almost eerie beginning of "Escape" and keeping you captive until its end, "L490" (which is a beautiful, haunting melody written and mostly performed by drummer Shannon Leto), "This is War" is an album that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

  Great CD!

  If you are fan of U2, Depeche Mode or similar groups you will love 30STM. The sound and lyrics are unique and don't sound copied. We thought the last 30STM CD was amazing-but this one missing from the CD player constently with someone swipping it for your themselves. Gave the CD to my wife as a stocking stuffer...the T-Shirt is pretty cool bonus.

  this cd is amazing, i loved all songs, the drums, vocals, guitars... everything amazing. my fav song is search and destroy... perfect lyrics, trust me :p hurricane featuring kenye west is different and pretty good. this is war.. the best cd ever <3
