Time Traveler'S Wife

It Romance related... in that it is about a Chicago librarian with a gene that suddenly causes him to involuntarily time travel! Movie goes on to illustrate some travels, and all the complications it creates for his marriage, and this woman who loves him dearly. I know, sounds completely "stupid?". But, the way it is presented and the fact that my wife likes romance action type movies, made this on extra special - and - it was a good night at the Movies in my basement watching it with my wife! I would liken it The Notebook if you saw that movie? I recommend it! Oh, but a point to ponder if & when you do watch it...I found this confusing? That field at the end is the same place his been coming to at 1st talking to his wife, but if that is his wife, how comes in the end his wife & daughter are living there, unless that house they live at the end is the same house his wife was living in when she was young... complicated?!..

My sister's will be so excited I got this for them! They absolutely love Romances!

This is not an earthshaking movie. That being said, it is very enjoyable movie, and is well acted and directed. Some might call it a "chick flick", that doesn't give it enough credit. Consider it an interesting premise, well done, and overall an enjoyable experience. Certainly worth the low price that it now sells for in Blu-Ray. That being said, beyond the nicety of higher quality video, the DVD version would not leave you terribly disappointed. Not a movie that really needed the higher res, but it is always nice.

I caught this movie on DirecTV a couple of years ago. I wasn't expecting much but was interested in the scifi aspect of "The Time Travelers ....." in the title. I really enjoyed the story and the acting of the principle characters. Give it a try if you are tired of the same old romantic comedies or action adventures. This one is quite different!

Better than the Notebook!! The cast chemistry was phenominal. This movie showed that love transends time. Heartfelt and charming. I cried.

Once again, we are updating our blu-ray collection and this is one of my wife's favorite movies. It was a no-brainer when I saw that it was out on blu-ray.

This movie also kept my attention. I had never seen it before. Probably watch it again to understand it all.

Such a great movie. Really good romantic movie. Great to watch with your other half.
