Toaru Kagaku No Railgun: Certain Scientific 1 Pt 1

I had seen clips of this series before in different AMVs and was always curious about it. "A Certain Magical Index" came out late last year and I have yet to pick it up. Based off of reviews though, Railgun is the better of the two series. This series gives you a bit of everything from middle school comedy gags to supernatural fights and even some eye-watering drama. Have to love the Railgun power the most...it is the most powerful and flashy. Really wish that Funimation had done a Blu-ray release of this one as I would have paid an extra $5-$10 for it. The graphics are still pretty good and the voice acting was bearable. Decided not to go with subs this time. The extras are limited to the textless opening and closing themes with about 7 trailers as well. Nothing special. Time to watch part 2 and then catch the 2nd season since it just started airing in Japan.
