Lots of play options
I'm not a huge fan of the fossilizer figures myself but Wingfinger is pretty solid and does provide a lot of different options. I picked this up on sale for a little one to get them into Transformers and they like this guy way more than the bots that turn into cars and trucks.

Nice action figure line
Smaller version of the action figure line. Detail and character selection are good.

Fossilizers, not for everybody but super fun
Yeah these are transformers but because they come apart they're more like bionical and as long as you have an active imagination you can buy multiples and create interesting combinations. The pieces are small and are a choking hazard. I will say at the clearance price they were worth checking out and are surprisingly useable with both Earthrise, WFC and Beast wars sets from the current generation of TF.
