A: This headset can be used with the Headset Audio Controller. You'd want to ensure the volume level on the headset was turned up all the way on the headset itself prior to connecting it to the Headset Audio Controller. Once you've done that, you can connect the headset to the Headset Audio Controller and use its buttons for future volume adjustments.
Q: can this be connected to a computer ?
A: Yes, this can be used on a PC. If your computer has a single combo jack (one jack for audio and microphone purposes), then you would not need any additional accessories. If your computer is equipped with separate jacks for audio and microphone purposes, then you would need an additional cable known as a PC Splitter Cable.
Q: Does the TurtleBeach Recon 500 have directional audio?
A: The Turtle Beach Recon 500 is a stereo headset that would be compatible with directional audio features like Xbox's Window's Sonic Surround or the PlayStation's 3D Audio.
Q: Does this headset have a sidetone (mic-monitoring)?
A: I dont know what u mean side tone but i know for sure it does on xbox platform meaning its your controller that does mic monitoring with a wired headset like these
Q: Do these needed charged like the recon 200?
A: Nope, fully wired, so all you need is a 3.5 MM Auxiliary Jack.
Q: I need a headset to use with my Switich and take on an airplane. Do these have noise cancellation?
A: Yes, they do. The noise cancelling is actually relatively good, too, considering it’s just the insulation doing it.
A: The main band is actually quite durable and it’s meant to be bent, as well as being relatively elastic. You should have no worries, unless you’re trying to pull the headphones fully flat.
Q: Is this wired to the controller?
A: That’s what’s intended. Works perfectly with controllers. I use them with my PlayStation controller and I haven’t had any issues.
