Q: Is this case thick enough to protect the huge camera bump on the s20+ as I’ve heard that some are experiencing camera glass cracking and breaking. I’m wanting a good protective case that is raised on both back and from from the phone. Thanks!

A: The camera glass sits about a sixth of an inch below the lip of the case. Only way i can see the camera glass cracking is if you have something small and hard like keys or change get pressed directly against the glass. I'd be more worried about the front glass, only the corners of the case go above the front screen so i can easily see it cracking if it were dropped on a corner horizontally across the screen. Otherwise, i really enjoy the case, survived minor drops and bumps without any aesthetic defects appearing.

Great looking case with one vulnerability
First, I love the looks of this case. The color is eye catching and the design on the back with the aluminum and leather is a nice touch. It is also a fairly unobtrusive case as far as its size but that is also part of the problem, at least for me. I have a Whitestone Dome glass screen protector on my phone (best screen protector available IMO). I have dropped my phone a few times and I have 2 places on the very edge of my screen protector where the glass has been chipped. Obviously the screen protector is doing its job but the biggest concern for me is the top edge of the phone screen is vulnerable if it hits something at just the right angle. I admit it is probably a small chance but considering I already have 2 chips on the edge of my screen protector it shows that it's possible. On cases like the Otterbox Defender or Defender Pro there is more protection on the sides of the phone (i.e. the edges of the screen) than what this case provides. I will be purchasing the Otterbox Defender to replace this case for what I consider to be better overall protection. That being said, if you hardly ever drop your phone, this is a good case and as far as drops on the corner or back, the case does a good job of protecting the phone. So while I would recommend this case it would be with the stipulation I mentioned above. That if the phone were to be dropped against something at just the right angle the screen edge could potentially be impacted more easily than with protectors that have material which goes up higher on the sides.

good strong case
case is very good and strong . i love the crimson red color. i wish it has a stand to prop it up or something to hold around fingers in back but otherwise very good case

Reviewing UAG - Monarch Case for Samsung Galaxy S
The UAG - Monarch Series Case for Samsung Galaxy S20 + 5G - Crimson is stylish and very durable. I have dropped my cellphone several times and thanks to this case my cellphone is intact. Nowadays with cellphones tending to be on the pricier end, it is a necessity to protect them with a case like this. Love the color and design by the way.
