Unbreakable [DVD] [2000]

Honestly, this movie is near perfect. The performances by Willis and Jackson, the exceptional writing and direction by M. Night Shymalan, and that amazing score by James Newton Howard—all making for an incredible journey. My biggest gripe with this film has and always will be the ending. I’ve never been able to tell if Shymalan ran out of ideas or the studio forced him to end production prematurely, but it feels like there should have been far more than a fade to black and expositional texts appear. It’s not like the last few minutes ruin the movie at all, it just doesn’t have a worthy resolution. Regardless, this is definitely a must buy.

First movie of the M. Night trilogy ... the proposal is promising. Both, Willis and Jackson, form a duo that holds the psychological game of the script in suspense. Excellent!

I own split and glass so I wanted to complete the collection. I'm a fan of action movies so I wasn't disappointed.

I watched this a number of years ago and loved it. Picked it up since it tied into the new movie Glass.

This movie truly answers the question of what it would be like if someone in the real world had super powers. This is a brilliantly executed movie with an amazing score. Was so happy to see Best Buy had this in their store since the item had been sold out for ages and fetched HUGE prices on eBay.

This movie is a classic! Can't wait to watch it again along with the 2 new sequels!

Kept my attention. Answered questions I had from the movies Split and Glass. Interesting characters. Well acted.

Remember seeing this when it came out originally on DVD and thought was a okay movie. Although I personally wasn't into movies then only for the purposes of going on dates! Anyways just viewed this not a week ago (on Blu-ray) this time and absolutely loved it! Shame on me for not enjoying it the first time.
