A first-year medical student discovers that death may not be as final as she once believed when the spirit of the cadaver assigned to her in Gross Anatomy class attempts to resolve some unfinished business in the mortal realm. When the sheet is drawn back and Alison's (Corri English) cadaver is revealed, the nervous student suddenly senses a powerful energy and collapses to the floor, unconscious. Upon relaying her strange experience to her skeptical instructor, Dr. Blackwell (Derrick O'Connor), Alison finds her strange malaise immediately written off as the "first year jitters." When Alison's friend is discovered dead in a basement corridor and the rising body count begins to appear strangely connected with her investigation into the cadaver's fate, the frightened medical student does her best to put the mystery, and the murderous spirit, to rest. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

      Exceeded my Expectations

Unrest exceeded my expectations from top to bottom. The atmosphere, mood & pacing were tight. Corri English took the lead & managed to be both easy on the eyes and very beleivable. In fact the chemistry between her & co star Scot Davis was remarkable. As for the plot holes forget it just dont think about it its a minor flaw considering most 1st run movies with 3 times the budget and bigger stars cant muster the kind of craftmanship and authenticity found in this little film . Heres the plot in a nutshell,a group of med students are assigned to perform their first autopsy when one of the bodies begins to show sighns of life and one by one the 4 people selected to work on the corpse begin turning up dead in the most horrific manner you can imagine. Its not a zombie movie. Its not a ghost story its something all the more realistic. Unrest is a gem. Watch it alone & in the dark.
