A hedonistic group of friends (Justin Chatwin, Danny Masterson, Ashley Greene, and Alexis Knapp) head off to an island nightclub resort for a weekend getaway. Once there, a mysterious club owner (Pierce Brosnan) offers them a new designer drug, but warns that it can only be taken one time. The group indulge in the substance, and a wild night ensues. But when some of them take the drug again the following night, unwelcome side effects begin to arise in this psychological thriller directed by Aaron Kaufman.~Daniel Gelb
Essentially a drug is taken that allows people to reveal their true selves. If this type of thing truly existed I think this movie would end up being true, and that is both scary and sad. Jason doesn't really feel the effects of it and that says a lot about how he lives and makes you wonder if his lifestyle is really the way to live. Overall, a very good, sexy type thriller that surprisingly has a message.
Pierce Brosnan , the source of the extra rush drug that morphs inhibitors of a weekend vacationing group of friends. Individual behavior sets them free from their limits and a hedonistic playground eventually turn deadly. You don't know what to expect next , but it's a killer.
fast paced action with great story theme, and story line, relatable characters, music, interesting relationships, drama, the ultimate villain, and a morale to the story that is very relevant.
all in it's a must see for all movie lovers .
The movie did contain some good acting and the twist on good versus evil was interesting, but all in all, nothing spectacular. I did not read reviews on this movie nor see previews first. It proves temptation is not always worth testing! Saying all that, Pierce Brosnan is still a great actor in my book!
