Durable, fast, and visually appealing smartphone
||Posted .I bought this phone hoping it could be used as more than a basic calling phone. Its specs support Android very well. I experience no lag while scrolling through the apps and after installing a few more apps for entertainment. I love the fact that the phone was made to be durable with the scratch resistant back although I am not sure if there is anything special about the front glass. The screen also displays beautifully vibrant colors. The screen resolution is not insanely high but enough to provide crispy clear pictures, unlike other low budget phones. The camera also takes decent pictures despite the lack of flash. It is also worth to note that this phone works for both Verizon CDMA and regular GSM which makes it a very good world phone for traveling (a simple trick may be required to fully enable the GSM capability and can be easily found on Google). Overall, a very nice purchase.

Great Prepaid phone to get!!
Posted .A fantastic phone for the price! It has everything that I need in a cell phone: Clear phone calls, long battery life, stock and latest Android OS, low price, nice form factor and design, and many useful apps. I am actually proud to own such modestly priced phone.

Excellent phone if you get it under $50
||Posted .I was able to purchase this phone on sale for $40 and it might be one of the best hardware purchases at that price. The battery life on this phone is outstanding. It can go 2-3 days without charging. It comes with android 5.0 and can be upgraded to 5.1. This phone can also be used with AT&T and it's MVNOs right out of the box, no unlocking necessary, and it gets LTE. The processor is not the fastest, and it has some issues multitasking but for $40 it can't be beat. I like the 4.5" form factor, I think anything above a 5" screen is too large. This phone, with it's combination of size and battery life is probably the best phone under $100

Great Deal
||Posted .So far this phone has been excellent. It is easy to use and has a lot of features similar to my IPOD touch. It has a siri- like feature that is great for hands free. I am getting good service everywhere, (for both internet and calls), really a good solid phone. The only negative thing about it is that the camera is not great - no flash and does not zoom that much but for a simple selfie or outside shot it is fine. I would recommend it to anyone who does not want to spend a lot on a smartphone. And even if you change your mind later it was $40!! And I got a $45 credit toward my bill the next month so really it's worth a shot.

Great buy - ships with Lollipop
||Posted .Great buy if you're looking for a contract-free Android device for Verizon LTE. The phone ships with Lollipop 5.0.2 installed and has great reviews everywhere. I bought this to test out Verizon and was hoping it would be unlocked and possibly compatible with GSM but it isn't. Not a dealbreaker because it does exactly what I wanted it to do. You can activate it on any Verizon MVNO. The only thing it doesn't have which I wish it did is NFC. The model on this phone is XT1528 and it is almost pure Android. There are few Motorola and Verizon apps but not many. This is probably the best deal going for a non-contract Verizon Smartphone for under 100.00. You can activate it on postpaid - just Google it and follow instructions. If you activate on Verizon prepaid you are married to that for about six months. I activated on PP with no issues.

Awesome LTE Android
||Posted .This phone is great and easy to unlock for GSM networks (search the xda developers forum for Moto E). I suggest T-Mobile if you want a less expensive plan and are okay with their coverage. But if you need lots of coverage and want advanced "XLTE" where it's available then go with Verizon. If you already have a postpaid account, just pop your current sim in before you ever turn on the phone. If you have a nano sim currently, just ask verizon to switch you out a micro on your account. You might even be able to get them to use the one that already comes in this phone by calling their customer service, but I'm not totally sure on that.

Decent phone for the elderly.
||Posted .The phone was purchased for my older parents. They required a replacement phone after losing their two year old LG L7. I looked at the many features of the low cost but better spec'd moto e, and decided to give it a try. And to date, gladly we have not been disappointed. Winning us over was firstly the fresher design and larger clearer screen. Then newer ui and stock android making it much more friendly to use. Fallowed by the front facing, load clear speaker to help its great call quality to shin through. In the end, i think Motorola managed to provide a budget minded customer great value with its moto e.

Defective from day one
Posted .After buying two phones for myself and girlfriend we both had them activated with 1gb of data because we use WiFi at home. On the way home my data was used up without me even using it and my girlfriends phone showed nothing. then in the following weeks the phone takes pics and videos in my pocket and when i unlock the screen I find 30-80 black photos and videos. Then also when the screen is locked the phone sends random messages to people I don't know. This phone is Defective and is going back to Best Buy. I just hope they can transfer my phone numbers to the next phone
