VTech - DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone System with Digital Answering System

I was able to quickly setup and use the phone without the use of manual. As an Engineer, the ability to setup without instructions is an indication the design was well thought out in advance for user interaction. I have only had the phone in use for two months and have linked smart phone for convenient access. Works perfectly well with good voice clarity. As for its reliability, only time will tell...I can say it's past the infant mortality failure rate (This is where premature failures occur). There is no MTTF (Mean Time To Failure) specification available, but the available extended warranty (should one choose to purchase) is an option. Too low in cost to justify in my opinion.

Nice phones with great features....you can even listen to your Voice Mail from the handset (but you can't delete it). This is our third set of VTech phones. They last about 2 1/2 years, which doesn't seem long enough to me but they are the 'coolest' phones you can buy for the price.

I have owned Vtech phones before and liked them much better. Itn says you can select ring tones, but only give you about 10 bad choices. My last phone, I could pick a different ring tones for each caller in the directory.

You can use the VTech Connect to Cell system with a land line and up to 4 cell phones. The three hand sets provided allow us to place phones throughout the house for ease of use. The bluetooth pairing is excellent - easy to set up and the reception is great. We plan to dump our land line and just use our cell phones paired to the VTech system. Once you accomplish the initial setup (5 minutes), the cell phones automatically pair when you walk into the house. We love it.

I got a great price for this VTech phone system. It works very well for my present needs... which is for business and personal. Plus I can get my cell phone calls through my VTech (via the Bluetooth setting) which is wonderful.
