video doorbell and cordless answering system combines a versatile phone system with a digital
camera, for convenience and security at home. The video doorbell allows you to screen visitors before

The camera on doorbell automatically snaps a photo and sends it to the handsets when visitors ring
the doorbell. You can then stream video, audio or both with just two buttons.

Q: Can this doorbell work with a cell phone?
A: This camera does not connect to an internet Wifi and so doesn't connect to any cell phone. As stated before, it should be bought with the V-Tech IS7121 phone, which is a cordless phone.
Q: How do you replace battery in doorbell unit?
A: Doozi - You would need to remove the screw located at the bottom of the VTech IS741 Doorbell and then insert a flat-bladed screwdriver between the doorbell and its wall mount cover to pry open at both sides. A: Direct sunlight will impact the quality of the displayed image. Also, operating temperature has a maximum of 120F degrees. so heat may be a factor.
Q: Will the doorbell camera work with a I phone 6+
A: This camera does not connect to an internet Wifi and so it doesn't connect to any cell phone. As stated by others, the doorbell camera must be bought with the V-Tech IS7121 cordless phone (which can be used as a standalone home phone, not necessarily in connection with the doorbell camera). On the phone handset there is small screen which shows the streaming video from the camera when someone rings the doorbell. NOTE: THE VIDEO STREAMING WORKS ONLY IF THE DOORBELL UNIT IS CONNECTED TO THE POWER SUPPLY. That is, the doorbell unit camera will not work if the doorbell unit is operated only on batteries.
