Johnny Cash Semi-Biography is a Winner
So based on real events, blah, blah. If you want pure history this is not it. If you want a great movie based on a legend performed by two top-notch actors, then buy this. I had this on DVD but wanted to upgrade to better picture quality for my 4k UHD TV. 4k is not available right now so I went with Blu-ray. The picture is crisp (upconverted). I definitely recommend. The product / packaging is as expected. No rah-rah, no criticism.
Got this film for my mom since she watch it on TV and I thought this be a wonderful gift for her. She's happy to have the film. Plus the film is amazing.
Joaquin Phoenix's portrayal of the country music legend is maybe the best of his career. Reese Witherspoon's performance is amazing as well. Probably one of my favorite biopics of all time.
