Q: Is this compatible with X-Box One for Games?
A: Yes. The very reason I bought mine as well.
A: I just plugged and played with mine. As always let it automatically install the driver when first plugging it in and always always hit the remove hardware icon or turn off the comp before unplugging hard drives
Q: AM I REQUIRED TO USE THE ENCRYPTION FEATURE ?
A: No, you can format it and use it as you like right out of the box. I used this for my Xbox One, non-encrypted of course.
Q: Does this have it's own power supply?
A: No power supply needed, but it malfunctioned on me in less than a month. A real dud I am out $75.00
Q: Does the Passport 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable HD come formatted for a Imac computer?
A: Out of the box, no but it's an easy fix. On your iMac is a program called Disk Utility. You can use that to reformat your disk for use on a Mac. You'll erase the disk and reformat it to work on Mac with I believe either the FAT32 or exFAT (for transferring in files larger than 4 gigs) setting. I'm not super technical, Googled the process, and in a few minutes my disk was running on my iMac. I believe a similar version of the drive is made for the Mac but at my store it was not in stock.
Q: Can this be used to back up more than one computer?
A: Yes, it can be setup to backup more than one computer.
Q: Can I connect to this device and upload via Android Bluetooth?
A: Not that I’m aware of
Q: Dose a external hard drive work on the PS4
A: Yes it works with the PS4, bought mine back in Dec. 2018.
