We Ski & Snowboard - Nintendo Wii

I think this game is a blast. I love flying up to the mountains in the helicopters and skiing down the ungroomed areas, finding hidden spots and surviving avalanches etc... My needs are simple and when I'm playing alone I choose some of my mii buddies to accompany me and it feels like we are really at a ski resort skiing. Great fun. I've only raced a few of the races, but they have been fun. I enjoy watching myself win from a spectator's vantage point on the replay option. I just love the graphics and the fact that you can ski at night or during the day.

We ski & snowboard is much bigger, better and more fun than the first. Now you can choose between skiing and snowboarding like the title suggests. They have 2 riding areas now. First the resort area is about 4-5 times biiger than the one in the first we ski game. They have added more hidden runs, one massive terrain park, lot more obstacles and more mini adventures to play out. You can also have 3 additional players ride with you as you play the game in single player mode. Which is kinda cool. Not riding up the chair lift alone any more. There is a second riding area in this game too. It a huge, natural mountain.I want to say area wise, it's about 6 - 8 times bigger than the mountain in the first we ski. This mountain also has a couple hidden runs and adventure to seek out. i want to say if you "bombed" the mountain, it would take you 5 minutes to reach the bottom! This game also records every little thing you do. Examples, how many times you fall into a gorge, fall down, helicopter rides, chair lift rides, start an avalanche! and many, many more! This might be one of the best $40 i have spent on a game. Why? Because any age can play and have fun!

There are different levels of difficulty making it easy enough for my four year old while entertaining and challenging for my wife and me. It is fun trying to find hidden ski runs and playing some of the games. It definitely makes me realize I am overdue to go skiing. It's our favorite game so far.

Just a great game if you ski or snowboard. I do both and they are very realistic. The two mountains provide hours of fun. Me and my daughter, who also skiis, played for 3 hours straight when we first got it. You can easily learn how to do tricks but they are not required to have fun. The speed and rush you get from skiing is translated very well to the wii. Turning, stopping, jumping both on skiis and snowboard is very natural and intuitive. For such an under the radar type of game, I was simply blown away by how much fun this game is to play.

What a great winter activity! The whole family loves this game. It was fun dressing our Mii's too. We just love doing the night skiing! It's fun to be able to invite people to ski with you and my son loves it when he can find Frosty to ski with him. Definitely a Wii favorite in our house!

I LOVED the original WeSki but after having run through all of the points twice, was getting a bit bored. I decided to try the WeSki & Snowboard - and I was not disappointed. As mentioned on the other review, this is a new resort, as well as the "uncharted" mountain area - both with many more looooong runs. My only complaint is it that there is so much more clutter visually (alternate paths, rails, etc.) and you have to pay a bit more attention to where you are skiing, whereas the original was clear cut, go here, go there and you got to the bottom. You get more freedom, but have to pay more attention. The FUNNIEST new feature is the "invite" option. You can invite a mii to join you, and then for the rest of the session they follow you around, ride the chair with you, etc. and it now saves all of your runs, so you can replay the run (and freeze it for wii photos), not just the challenges. I laughed hysterically watching my mother-in-law (which they dressed in leopard print) riding her snowboard (and crashing repeatedly in to trees!). So, if you've run WeSki into the ground, this is a great step forward - The only group I would stick with the WeSki for would be for those like my 70 year old parents who enjoy their games but prefer straight forward functions without having to concentrate.

Easy to use and fun game. Kids love it. Would recommend this game.
