  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: false (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

    • Cycle Status Lights: true (Lights on the control panel that indicate which cycle is in use and/or its current status. Know when to unload with a simple glance.)
    • Filtered Water: true (Internal water filter(s) remove minerals and chemicals from hard water before the wash cycle. Filtered water is less likely to leave mineral deposits or stains, meaning your dishware will look cleaner for longer.)

    • Steam Pre-Wash: false (Loosens food debris by creating steam inside the washer before the primary wash cycle, allowing for an easier, gentler clean of dishware.)
    • NSF-Certified Sanitization Cycle: false (Meets the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) standards for performance and cleaning effectiveness. When operated on the sanitizing cycle, an NSF-Certified dishwasher reaches a final rinse temperature of 150⁰ Fahrenheit and achieves a minimum 99.999% percent reduction of bacteria.)

Dishwasher Buying Guide

  • Tap touch controls: Clean these controls as easily as you use them.
  • Cycle status indicator: The full lit display glows for wash, drain, drying, sanitized and clean along with the time in hours and minutes so there's no need to guess when your dishes will be ready.
  • Flexible loading options: Adjustable upper basket, folding tines, removable upper basket and AnyWare silverware basket.
  • 8-hour delay-start: Lets you set the dishwasher to start running while you're working, sleeping or running errands.
  • Accommodates up to 15 place settings: Generous interior space means more clean dishes, fewer loads.
  • In-Door silverware basket: Frees up rack space by easily fitting on the front of the lower rack or in the door to make room for more dishes.
  • Adjustable upper rack: Manually raise or lower the upper rack two inches to better fit tall items.
  • Stainless steel tub: Promotes drying by retaining heat from wash and rinse cycles. Plus, it cools faster than the dishes so moisture can condense on the interior walls and not the dishes.
  • TotalCoverage spray arm: Cleans with twice the jets for more coverage. A smarter sequence of spray patterns from multiple nozzles hits dishes throughout the cycle.
  • High temperature wash option: Gives items like baby bottles, glassware or dishes a more thorough clean.
  • Energy Star Certified: Energy Star Certified models exceed government standards to help save money on your utility bills.
  • Heated dry option: Use a clean, dry dish straight from the dishwasher thanks to added heat for drying. For optimal drying results, use this option with rinse aid.
  • Sensor Cycle: Automatically selects the right wash and dry settings for your load by using two separate sensors to measure temperature, soil level and load size once during the prewash and once during the wash cycle.
  • Normal Cycle: Use for normal amounts of food soil to clean up leftover messes from your day-to-day meals.
  • 1-Hour Wash Cycle: Cleans dishes in half the time (compared to Normal cycle with lightly soiled loads) so your plates, pans and glasses are thoroughly cleaned up and taken care of in just an hour.
  • Heavy Cycle: Take care of heavily-soiled messes and other hard-to-clean dishes without the extra elbow grease by adding extra time to the cycle.

Q: Can you tell me the what the different colored lights mean on the top right hand side of the front panel? Could not find the answer in the manual.

A: Hello Jerry, The exterior status light on the front of the door panel will glow blue when washing, red while it is drying, and white when the cycle is complete. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!

Q: Can u set the controls with door open and then close it? I'm wanting to get the diswasher pushed back as far as it will go so it doesnt stick out too much in front of cabinets and that may cause controls to not be visible.

A: Hi Chi, yes the controls on this model are designed so you select your cycle with the door open. From there you have roughly 5 seconds the to close the door and the cycle will start. If you take longer than 5 seconds to close the door, the unit will cancel the cycle. We hope this helps!

Q: Are there any differences between Model WDT750SAHW and Model WDTA50SAHW, please. If so, what are they?

A: Hi ModelDifferences, thank you for your inquiry. The overall design of the models are different. WDTA50SAHW has a contemporary design with a pocket handle. Where as WDT750SAHW has an actual metal handle. Other than that, all the features and specifications are the same. We do hope this helps!

Q: What is the decibel number for this model?

A: Hi D, thank you for your inquiry. The operating sound of this unit while running is 47 decibels. We do hope this helps!

Q: Does this dishwasher have a rinse only cycle?

A: No but has a quick one hour wash
