Q: Where does the electrical outlet need to be ?
A: The electrical outlet was located at the top of the back wall in the cutout for the built-in double oven. The original outlet was exchanged for an updated plug. The new oven was taller so the cut out was enlarged to fit.

Q: what are the interior dimensions of each oven?
A: Both ovens are the same size. The interior measurements are 16" (h) x 19 (w) x 19.63" (d).
A: What matters is the size of the hole cut out not the oven. Our cutout needed a slight enlargement. This is what it was when ready to insert the ovens. 24 inches wide, 52 inches tall, You also need at least a minimum depth to the back wall of the house. We had 25 inches and that was fine. Sounds as if you likely have the width and depth if there is another oven in there now, but may need a trim at the top or bottom of the hole.
Q: are both ovens self cleaning?
A: No top oven self cleaning only.
A: Kate: The actual exterior width of the oven is 23 3/4, so you will have an extra 3/4 inch gap. The oven doesn't come with any kind of additional trim for these situations and I doubt Whirlpool would have any type of trim kit since it would be impossible for them to know what type of cabinetry they would have to try and match. Depending on your cabinetry, maybe you can find a similar piece of paneling or wood that you can cut down and use to fill the gaps on each side. Off hand, I can't think of an easier solution outside of buying a bigger oven... which I assume isn't really an option.
Q: What is the installation charge and do you haul away the old oven.
A: I believe it was about $180 and yes the will hail it away for $15
Q: Does the 24" model come with a microwave on top?
