A: This range is not convection, but it works very well. I have owned it now for over a month and use stainless cookware on it and works perfectly at low to mid tempetures for cooking all foods. As far as baking it works great as well, I'm always baking cakes and brownies or cookies and stays clean. The glass top is awesome as well, just remember to wait until the glass top is cold to the touch and hot surface indicators are off to clean it with the glass cream cleaner. If you don't you will stain the glass top, if you follow my advice it will all wipe away and stay bright and shiny with no stains or residue.. Hope this helps with your decision to purchase it.
A: If you have an existing electric range the same width as the new range, their shouldn't be any problem. They have to evaluate the electric outlet you have as there are two types, and they bring both types with them as the oven doesn't come with one installed. In my case, they were able to transfer the plug on my existing range so I didn't have to purchase another plug. If they can use the existing plug, just return the one you may have pre-purchased. Also, before they install, evaluate the new range for any dents or scratches. They also install an anti-tip plate which is a safety device that goes around the back leg of the stove. They also tested the oven to make sure all the burners and oven work. It only take about 20 minutes. They took the old stove away for a $15 dollar fee. They did a very good job.
A: I wish you could turn the timer sound up. I can hardly hear it in fact I have missed hearing it.
A: Chandra, the Keep warm setting is set at 170°F (75°C). Press the Temp/Time up or down arrow keypad until desired temperature is reached. A tone will sound if the minimum or maximum temperature is reached.
Q: What size is the oven drawer. Is it tall enough inside to store pots there?
A: Yes ! I have 2 pots and several skillets in mine ! Lots of storage space ,including the pot lids.
Q: what is adjustable self cleanning? also does his stove have a bottom element?
A: Bevie, the Self-Cleaning cycle is time adjustable between 2 hours 30 minutes and 4 hours 30 minutes in 30-minute increments. Suggested clean times are 2 hours 30 minutes for light soil and 4 hours 30 minutes for heavy soil. The last 30 minutes of the cycle is for cooldown. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you.
