Whirlpool Duet, a great product for a great price

We chose Whirlpool Duet washer/dryer combo based on customer reviews, plus Consumer Report's reviews! It was delivered for free, and installed by professionals. It runs great, is pretty quiet, and with the washer looks beautiful! We hope it will give us many years of great service! We were pleasantly surprised Whirlpool is an American brand! When you buy this, make sure you buy an electric cord, PLUS two extra laundry hoses because it is a STEAM dryer and it needs water! The splitter is included! So far, it has been one of the best buys from best buy! Thank you!!!

Practical and functional

It is quiet, it works well, and it has a lot of versatility for different needs in clothes drying. It is so easy to use, my kids can do it (and do it well). I do wish there was an option to have the door open the other way, as I was limited as to where I can put it. Also, on my old dryer, I could set a basket down in front of it and swing the door open over it. This one doesn't have enough clearance. (Because the door opens the wrong direction for the location, it is extremely awkward trying to get the basket in and out in front of the dryer.) Still, aside from the door direction (which won't be a problem for most people), it is a terrific dryer.
