I Opened this one and viewed it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordinarily I would have already viewed this movie, but this time the steel box csmre out at the same time as the plastic box so I got to save a bit of money. The movie is all right, just another sequel to a movie franchise. Got some interesting footage, CGI stuff, just more sci-fi and fantasy, which seems to be the thing that Hollywood is producing today.....mostly to make money with little concern for more than what used to be termed 'wasting film'. I guess that with electronic recording and storage it is a bit cheaper than with film, but they spend many ties as much as the older, film versions of Hollywood fare when they have to hire hundreds of technological staff to get the CGI done and create the 'gee-whiz' fantasy stuff.

Worst movie in the Franchise...until Origins...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With several deviations from the comic book canon in the plot and a noticeable shift from the character development that took place in the first two X-Men films toward a faster-paced, more action-oriented, and choppier film, this film got mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. Even directors of other movies in the franchise, Brian Singer and Matthew Vaughn, as well as the movie's own script writer, Simon Kinberg, criticized the movie for treating the Dark Phoenix story arch too superficially in a melange of characters and scenes that was either packed with too much material or lacking adequate length to present properly. Having gotten that off my chest, I still like this film, and even Ebert and Roeper gave it two thumbs up. If you check your expectations for a canon portrayal of the X-Men at the door, and enjoy a good action-packed comic book movie, then this is a fun choice! My brother--a complete novice in comic book lore--saw this movie for the first time in 2017 and really liked it. For those who continue to harp on the fact that it isn't as good as X-Men and X-Men United, I direct them to the next installation--X-Men Origins--to see what an actual terrible movie with no redeeming qualities looks like.

Good movie for Franchise fans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the franchise, this movie is definitely below average. HOWEVER, I'm a big fan of the X-Men and the X-Men movies--this movie included. The Last Stand got about 60% on Rottentomatoes--not nearly as good as The Wolverine, a little better than X-Men: Apocalypse, and a LOT better than X-Men Origins--so if you liked Apocalypse and haven't seen this one, you'll probably enjoy The Last Stand.

This film has been lauded but I like it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This film may actually be my favorite of the original Singer films. I know it has been picked apart for its dis-jointed issues but I have always enjoyed it. I love the angles between Charles, Jean, & Logan & I have always been vested in them. I'm glad it looks like we get more with them. Video Quality = Extremely good Audio Quality = Practically perfect Extras = Excellent. I just like this release & that's all I've got.

Well, it's an XMen movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie is where the XMen started to go off the rails. Too much was just too different from the source material and the story line "permanently" changed too many characters to make them unusable for any possible sequels. If you love superhero movies, you'll enjoy this but it probably won't be one of your favorites.

An exciting and amazing film.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think that "X3: The Last Stand" was once again one of the greatest X-Men films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite X-Men films of all-time. I have seen and enjoyed this film several times and I also really enjoyed all of the X-Men films of the first X-Men trilogy including "X-Men" and "X2: X-Men United". I also think that "X3: The Last Stand" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense including really great and amazing personal storylines as well.
