Q: Does Best Buy deliver and installation include removal of the existing hood?
A: I had this installed using my BestBuy Totaltech membership, and they did remove the old hood and take it away when they were finished with the installation.
Q: Are the filters dishwasher safe? What is the number for the matching recirculating kit?
A: Hello, Yes, Remove and clean by hand or in dishwasher using a non-phosphate detergent. Discoloration of the filter may occur if using phosphate detergents, or as a result of local water conditions - but this will not affect filter performance. This discoloration is not covered by the warranty. Spray degreasing detergent and leave to soak if heavily soiled. Dry filters and re-install before using hood. Q: Are the venting options easily reversible? (e.g. recirculate to top vent, top vent to recirculate)
A: Hello, For AK12, an air recirculation kit (optional) must be purchased before using the hood in recirculation mode. Recirculation kit - ZRC-0012. A: I had it installed by Best Buy and u don’t believe I had to order any other parts so I believe it comes with everything you need. Love it. Nice and quite.
A: Best Buy installed it wrong and it came crashing down while I was cooking, ruining the meal. They had used only 4 short screws to install this hunk of metal. I will never use Best Buy for installation again!

Very happy with purchase, slim lines and powerful suction. Perfect for attaching under a cupboard that is low over the stove top. This is a big step up from our old range hood. The LED lights go from dim to very. very bright. So good to see exactly what you are doing. The only downside is that the 2 filters fall out onto the stove easily even though put in carefully. The manufacturer needs to address this problem.

Under coubter hood
The black finish matches the black cooktop perfectly. We like the 3 speeds and light. The motor is so quiet on the low speed (1) that we don’t hear it. The other two speeds are not so loud that one can converse without yelling. We totally love it!
