This Zircon StudSensor Pro SL 64107 stud finder utilizes TruCal technology to calibrate to the density of a wall, so you can easily locate hidden studs and joists. LED and audio alerts inform you when you've reached a stud.
Features
SpotLight Pointing System
Shines a beam of light to identify a target wood or metal stud or joist in a wall, floor or ceiling.
TruCal technology
Calibrates the device according to a wall's density. Green LED alerts you when the tool is calibrated and ready for use.
Stud Scan mode
Senses the edges of wood or metal studs up to 3/4" deep. DeepScan mode doubles scanning depth to approximately 1-1/2".
Red LED
Informs you when the tool is approaching a stud. Green LED and audio alert signal when the tool has reached it.
Over-the-stud indicator
Informs you when you begin scanning directly over a stud, so you can quickly start checking a new location.
