Q: Why is it twice as expensive here. Than the same part at Asus north America?
A: They will price match Asus website I just went into the store and did it and they were really nice about it
Q: Will this be available again in the future? Will other HDMI 2.1 versions be coming to Best Buy?
A: Asus stated this last production run will be its last since it is the 2022 model. Pretty sure it will not be in stock fully again if ever after this weeks last batch.
Q: Does this connect to your laptop with the c port
A: The ROG XG Mobile eGPU Dock uses the ROG XG Mobile interface and USB Type-C combo port to connect to your PC and this is a proprietary connection that works with specific ROG models.
Q: why is this still out of stock....
A: The 6850 is the 2022 model, the 4090 is the 2023. Asus stated that this will be their last production run for the 2022 model, BB just got some 2 days ago and it instantly sold out. I doubt you will see this again unless Asus has extra to send to BB. Sadly you had to get one via price match when they were readily available...near impossible now.
Q: Can this one used by Rog Flow x16?
A: Yes, it can be connected and be used on a ROG Flow X16 laptop.

Q: When will more be in stock?
A: You can get the Xg mobile on asus website. It’s really hard to buy these on BB or other sites with the exception of Mercari and eBay. Outside of those sites, asus is the only place you can buy them rn. They’ve also just discontinued the 4090 Xg mobile.
