Of all the newer Batman movies that have come out this is the best one yet. Christian Bale does a great job as Batman as well. This movie actually takes a realistic look into the Batman series. You get to actually see the development of how Batman gets all of his skills, why he is called Batman, and where he gets all of his great weapons, that we are all familiar with in the Batman movies. The background behind Batman was very interesting and gives you so much in the explanation of why Batman becomes Batman. The story is very well written and the movie although sometimes slow keeps you interested and wanting to see what is next. The special effects are great and look excellent in HD. I highly suggest this movie as it is the best of the newer Batman movies that has been made. I would also suggest picking it up in HD if you can as it looks really great, especially the special effects.

This movie encapsulates everything that HD movies are about. It features an excellent video transfer where you're able to see all the intricacies of the Gotham backdrop. The colors are perfect, the black levels are wonderful, and the overall feel of the movie transcends well especially through the HD medium. The story in itself is good enough to carry it to new heights. Gone are the days of the laughable Batman movie series. This one kicks it into top form and doesn't disappoint. The realistic, gritty edge of the Batman Begins is perfectly portrayed, more so in its HD form because you are able to see all the details and hear all the sounds as they were intended to be heard. This one is a serious must-buy for anyone who wants to witness what HD-DVD has to offer, or even showcase it to friends who aren't yet convinced.

The movie is outstanding HD Title! I now have both the regular DVD and the HD version and there is a big difference between the two. Sound is fantastic and the video is exception. Lots of cool little extras on the making of the movie made it worth the $25. Do note that I have the X-Box 360 Elite with the HD player attached using HDMI cables going to a 50" Pioneer and optical cable going to my Onkyo.
