Head-to-toe HD view, two-year battery, simple setup, Sync Module Core included – System (White)
Q: Do you have to purchase a subscription to operate?
A: Not entirely , the subscription is so you can get extra motion clips. Basically just a storage cluster I wouldn’t get it personally
Q: Can the device be placed outside under sun, rain, and freezing temperatures?
A: Hello Me and thank you for your question! The Blink Video Doorbell is rated IP-54 weather resistant to rain, dust, cold and heat, within typical limits. It can operate between -4° to 113° F (-20° to 45° C). While the doorbell is water resistant, it is not meant to be immersed in water. Hope this helps! Have a great day!
Q: How many phones can I connect through doorbell?
A: You may be signed into the same Blink account on as many mobile devices as you'd like.
A: Hello and thank you for your question! On the live view for the Blink Video Doorbell, the microphone is automatically muted. You need to tap and hold the icon on the screen to talk though the Doorbell. Hope this helps! Have a great day!
Q: Can more than one doorbell be used with one sync module.?
A: Thank you for the question, HC2005! Yes, you should be able to add multiple Video Doorbells as they considered one device each and will only take up one spot of your Sync Module which as a max limit of 10 devices. They also should record motion clips, however a subscription plan is required to save and store clips onto Cloud storage.I hope this helps! Take care!
A: Yes- all Blink devices irrespective of model or generation are cross-compatible. Each Sync Module can support up to ten cameras.
Q: does this module accept USB storage
A: Hi Exring, No, the Blink Sync Module Core does not accept USB storage for saving video clips locally. The USB-C port on the Sync Module Core is designed strictly for providing power to the device. I hope this answers your question!
A: Hello Chazzy, Your Blink Sync Module will allow your Blink doorbell to be up to 100ft away from the Sync Module box. However, performance depends heavily on obstructions like brick walls or concrete, and router strength. For the best connection keep the Sync Module centrally located. I hope this information helps. Have a great day!

Customers are delighted by the video doorbell's clear video quality, overall performance, and wide field of view. The simple setup and long battery life are also appreciated. While the connectivity and motion detection are satisfactory, some customers feel the night vision could be improved.

Good little camera. Field of view is adequate and motion sensing is nice. Being able to tell me the difference between person, car, or animal is nice but gives a bit of a creepy vibe since Blink, like Ring, is owned by Amazon and may cooperate the Flock company and/or ICE.

I bought this as my first smart doorbell and was satisfied, but started second guessing myself when I noticed other brands bragging about how superior their 2k video quality was or how their AI scene description was revolutionary, so I decided to try the Arlo instead. I immediately regretted that decision. And because I wanted to maximize the battery life I hardwired the Arlo, which is the only reason it lasted a few weeks before switching back to the blink. My main problem with the Arlo camera was that it did not start to capture the movement until the person was almost gone, since im in an apartment and its capturing a hallway. This isn’t an issue with this Blink camera which captures motion the moment someone enters into frame. I only ever saw the back of people’s heads with the Arlo. Wireless made it so easy to put up and take down and I’ll just use rechargeable batteries moving forward. Finally, when the trial of the subscription service for Arlo expired I truly gained appreciation for the fact that this Blink camera lets me record on an SD card. Who needs another monthly payment that ends up costing more than the product? This way feels a lot better for privacy reasons too.

It works really well along my echo show 15 and amazons fire tvs all I have to do is ask to show the feed and it broadcasts it onto the screens and I even have it programmed via Alexa app to send a chime to all my Alexa speakers and broadcast to the show 15 for 20 seconds so I can see who it is I give it a 10 out of 10 and the subscription is optional and if you do decide to get it, it’s half of what ring costs which is nice I try and get all cameras as blink because it’s cost effective and reliable
