Q: Hi I like my espresso hot, like piping hot. Does this machine make espresso very hot?
A: The unit is designed to brew espresso properly at 3 different temperatures. All temperatures are designed to brew the espresso thoroughly, without burning the actual coffee. It is a common desire, particularly in the US, for coffee to be made extremely hot, as most common places to get coffee in the US do not understand the overly heating the water can actually burn the bean while brewing, resulting in a burnt, improper taste. That is not what this machine is designed for. It is designed to maximize the flavor of the coffee. The same can be said for the milk frother. Don't burn your milk. If you want your coffee piping hot or burnt, buy a cheaper machine or put your coffee in the microwave once it's brewed.
Q: Do espresso makers also just make regular cups of coffee?
A: The Breville espresso makers only make espresso. They do not make drip coffee. The closest drink to drip coffee to be made with the espresso makers would be an Americano, which is espresso with water.
Q: Does this pull shots and steam the milk at the same time?
A: No you can not pull the shot and steam at the same time. However, the shot pulls very quickly and while the shot is being pulled these allows time to gather your milk and flavorings. We have this machine and the more expensive breville machine but I like this one better. The frothing is amazing once you get the hang of it especially almond milk. Love this machine and would buy again 1000 times over. We are using this in a retail setting and love it.
A: That was a big problem when I was trying to pick out which one I wanted. When I looked at the black truffle one, it definitely was a very cheap looking plastic. The stainless steel definitely feels more durable and better quality. Most components are stainless steel with maybe some plastic parts here and there. But overall, great quality and I would absolutely get another one.

Q: what is the difference between breville 878 and 870
A: The biggest practical difference is that the pro heats up in 3 seconds and the Express takes about 30seconds. Doesn't seem like much but they also switch over to steam mode in similar quickness.
A: No, but if you want to drink a regular coffee, just add hot water from the machine to your expresso coffee.
Q: What’s included and what would you need to purchase with the breville 880 touch ?
A: The BES880 Barista Touch comes with: 54mm Full Stainless Steel Portafilter Single and Double Wall Filter Baskets 480ml Stainless Steel Jug ClaroSwiss Water Filter Razor™ Precision Dose Trimming Tool Cleaning Kit Water Hardness Test Strip
