Our professional installer will configure your learning remote to control up to eight of your devices and help you customize up to six different actions, such as events, scenes, automations and more. We’ll connect your remote to your existing home network and, if included, connect the remote’s smart hub or base station. If applicable, we can also help you set up your remote’s companion mobile app. Finally, we’ll review everything we set up and make sure you know how to use it so we leave you in full control. - Initial evaluation and consultation: When we arrive at your home, we'll evaluate the service area and discuss the scope of work to ensure that the services you purchased meet your needs and expectations. If they don't, we'll recommend solutions.
- Connecting the remote to your home: If needed, we’ll connect your remote or its smart hub to your existing home network.
- Creating your account: We can walk you through the creation of your account and profile so you can customize the remote to your needs.
- Programming device control: Our installers will program the remote to control up to eight different devices.
- Installing the companion app: If applicable, we’ll help you set up the companion app for your remote on your existing mobile device so you have another means of control.
- System demo and education: Once the services are completed, we’ll perform a system demo to show you the features and benefits of your new technology. We’ll answer any questions you may have and discuss additional solutions that can improve your sound experience.
- Cleaning up and removing packaging: After the installation, we'll clean up the work area and remove any unneeded product packaging
Disclaimers
- This service does not include setting up a TV, home network, soundbar, receiver or smart home devices.
- Due to manufacturer recommendations, we cannot support programming the remote for controlling more than one zone or video display.
- Additional charges may apply for delivery or services in extended areas, and the charges are based on location. Service returns cannot be accepted after installation services are completed.
- We provide a 90-day workmanship warranty on applicable services. If a service call is needed within the warranty period, there will be a $99.99 deposit plus applicable taxes at the time of scheduling which will be refunded to you if we determine that there was a defect in our workmanship. This warranty begins from the date of service completion.

A: Hi RedTail - the Geek Squad has a service called Home WiFi setup and support. It covers the setup of your new router and includes a year of ongoing support for your network. This can be purchased online or my going into your local Best Buy store.
