A: It's easy. You create your backup in your current version. Install the software and it converts the company file when you open it in the new version. Now, I did have a problem with my first purchase through bestbuy online. So when I got the new software this time I did a chat from intuit's website and asked if my key was valid. The tech actually associated the new key to my account and it was all good. If you buy from the store, I'm sure it would be fine. If from online, you may have to call or chat if the software key wasn't sent over to intuit indicating it was paid for.
A: I purchased this combo package to use as an upgrade to my current QB program version 18. QB doesn’t provide a simple upgrade option, you are forced to buy new. The benefit of this package is payroll. It’s less expensive buying the package together for upgrading both. Good luck!
Q: is there licensing fees for more than one user? can we use this product at more than one location?
A: Yes and no ...yes there are fees if u want to have more than one user n no u can't move it around but that's why u have the apps n other features that keep u connected no matter where u go
Q: Can I use this product on my Mac ?
A: No, you cannot use this on your Mac.
Q: Can I purchase an electronic version of this combo pack?
A: I purchased the software and it gave me the option of downloading it online, BUT, they charge a fee to do the download. I just used the discs then.
A: I have 2017 and you can have multiple users... they don't have to be licensed.
A: The QB bundle with Payroll entitles the purchaser to one year of payroll services for one employee. To activate the payroll you need to provide Intuit a CC number. That CC will be charged for payroll services over and able the one employee and after a year - an automatic renewal of the payroll service. If the CC is no longer valid at time of renewal of services they will cancel the service. If you but the bundle the next year and install it, you can call QB support and run the new version of QB with a new one year subscription as part of the bundle. They will delete the old service and activate the new - but your payroll data will be retained. You will keep your QB account numbers without change - but will aquire a new payroll subscription number to enter into QB. For small a small business with one employee - upgrading to the bundle each year is more cost effective since the payroll portion of the service is cheaper and you get the new program. It does require in my experience about a couple of hours with QB support each year to switch the service activations - and explain why you are doing it. Hopefully this answer will not discontinue their practice of offering the bundle.
