A: The JUH377 is both bus and self-powered, it contains it's own 4 amp power adapter. Out of 7 ports, only one is the designated "BC" (battery charging port) for charging peripherals i.e. phones. The rest of the ports output 0.9 amps as compared to the one BC port outputting up to 1.5 amps. Yes, in the case where you do not have a USB 3.0 port on your computer a USB 2.0 port will also work; slower speeds are to be expected.

Q: How long is the supplied cable? Using with a MacBook Pro in a vertical stand and need to hookup to the top (right) USB-C connector.

A: The cable length is 3 ft for the USB-C 7- Port Hub.

Q: Will this work for a ps5

A: The JUH377 may work with a keyboard to the PS5, but per our testing, a mouse will not work.

No nonsense sensibility at a great price
Works like a charm. Is sleek in design. When plugged in, all ports provide ample power for several power hungry devices. One port is rated higher for fast charging if needed. We have one of those weight sensitive cup warmers that didn't work from other peripherals including the keyboard, but it works like a charm with this. Keeps my tea warm/hot.

Must have for laptops
This has been a life saver. I purchased a c-type j5create 5 port recently and it turns out it wasn't enough for my needs. I stream on twitch from a 3 port ROG Zephyrus and I definitely needed more ports with my setup. So far there hasn't been any issues with this device. currently running a 4tb external hd, Yeti mic, wired PS4 controller, second web cam, and ring light and all is working fine thus far.

Excellent Choice!
My computer mostly have USB-C ports. I needed more regular USB. It works well and is not bulky. I especially like that it has an additional port in the end.
