An enjoyable oldie
A low-key drama about three women who contemplate the ups and downs of their marriages after they receive a letter from another woman that she is running off with one of their husbands. You're left guessing which woman's husband has left her until the last few minutes. Given the poor quality of too many movies in the past few years, it was worthwhile to watch an oldie that told a convincing story with good acting and no silly gimmicks.

Forgotten classic
I honestly had not heard of this movie before I came across it on the Best Buy shelves, bust based on the accolades and blurbs on the back I picked it up. So glad I did! Great performances, smart plot -- loved it!

Classic Movie
A classic movie from 1949 starring three of the female stars of the 1940s. It is a tearjerker. They don't make movies like this anymore. The DVD played fine. It has clear picture and sound.
