A: No you don’t have to have it connected to the Internet. Just skip that part of the set up.
A: The width from the outermost side of the feet is 33 1/4". So it would barely fit on a 34" dresser. I don't know if you're interested in hanging it on the wall but that would be an option if it didn't fit on your dresser. I have paneling in my living room so I have chosen not to do that but my entertainment center is big enough to accommodate it.
Q: Does this tv already have Netflix and Amazon prime tv on it?
A: Yes Netflix and PrimeTV are built in as well as Disney Plus.
A: The stand would need to be installed and screwed in upon opening the box. A screwdriver will be just fine. ^CP
