The LG C1 48in OLED is one of the best Tv's you can buy right now. Great for next Gen gaming with Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 with it having 4x HDMI 2.1 ports. If you are lucky enough to own a 30 series graphics card it can also be used as a monitor with being able to run HDMI 2.1 at 120hz smoothly along with being G-sync and Freesync compatible. The new magic remote design upgrade over the pervious version is a welcome and navigating menus with it is a breeze. The UI is a nice change from pervious LG TV's, but LG is still missing some big apps with no HBO max or ESPN at the moment. NOTE: I would not recommend this TV if the room you plan on putting it has a lot of natural light. In order to get the full effect of the OLEDs true blacks you want a completely dark room, and with the screen being on the glossier side, you can get some awful glares from direct natural light. Overall if you are a gamer with the new systems and a 30 series GPU, you can not go wrong with this TV.

This tv is an amazing feat of engineering and tech given by LG. The vibrant colors, perfect black level, and thinness is astonishing and even more so in darker environments. Films like Guardians of the Galaxy really show off the punchy bright colors how they are meant to be seen and perfect black bars on the top and bottom with no light bleed which always bothered me on cheaper LCD tv’s. This is also a “game” changer literally because it has 120fps and a dedicated game mode user interface. I can tell the difference of smoothness on Xbox Series X with every game and I even play better on some games now. The bass of the sound from this TV is very great. Also the metal stand is heavy and looks premium and the remote is very cool to use the motion cursor. Definitely pick up this TV if you are considering OLED as this is hands down the best out there.

Honestly, I had to lower my expectations with this TV even after trying it out at a friend's place and playing with another friend's Samsung QDOLED TV because it is an older model. However the past few weeks I have to say I'm am glad to say I have very little circumstantial problems that I have with this TV. It may not be as bright as the C2 or the S95B, but it gets the job done. Movies are amazing in 4K, Most of the games I have the pleasure of experiencing on this run great with both my 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING and STRIX 3090 GAMING OC, and just everything about this TV is stellar. One game I did have a problem going from 1440p to 4K is MH:R mainly because some textures were just white in game but verifying my files in Stream have helped resolved this issue. I don't think I could ever go back to playing games or consuming media on a regular LED TV or monitor. The only benefits of being a C2 that is there is a 42" version of it that would work much better as a computer monitor and that it is brighter but it's definitely not a noticable to the average consumer and I now play from my bed which makes this TV a delightful experience to have. I'd definitely pick this up and give this TV a good 6-8 years or even a full decade before making a circumstantial display upgrade. You won't regret it.
