A: The Jewel Cube speakers are small and powerful. The Direct Reflecting speakers are larger and produce a more open and spacious sound.
Q: why does my lifestyle 525 system keep going off if no one is in the room
A: We're glad you asked. There could be many reasons the system turns off on its own, it might be that the signal from the source device is too low and is not detected . If your systems "auto off" feature is enabled the system will turn itself off after a period of time if there has been no interaction. This feature is easily disabled. For assistance please contact our technical service team at 800-367-4008. Support hours are Monday - Friday 9:00AM to 9:00PM and Saturdays from 9:00AM to 7:00PM EST and we'll be glad to help.
Q: Does this system play DVDs or blu- ray? Or is it separate?
A: This system is designed to work with your existing DVD or BluRay player.
Q: Would the system work without connecting to a TV?
A: Yes, you can use this without connecting it to a TV.

Q: Does the speakers take 16 gauge wire?
A: We include 18 gauge wire with this system but 16 gauge is compatible and has worked out well for many of our customers.
A: Hello Matt, Bose offers several different installation packages. On a surround sound system you might choose to have the system set-up, connected and wires managed. You might also choose to have the wires concealed, and in the case of this system you might want to have the rear speaker wires concealed. The cost also depends on the distance from a Bose store.
