Q: Do I need to purchase screen guard with this item? or does it come with a screen protector? because the screen is the where the damage happens when it falls.

A: no additional purchase is needed, screen guard is included , however it is not the best, decided for yourself after purchase

Q: Is there a warranty on the case? The bottom hard plastic between the charging port and the headphone port broke after about 9 months. The case is still functional but the flaps that cover those ports don't stay in place.

A: Would have to contact Otterbox about it.

Q: It this compatible with the s7 edge?

A: No the Otterbox Commuter case is not compatible with the S7 Edge.

A: Flexible rubber inside cover with a hard plastic outer cover.

Q: does this work on the j7v

A: I do not think it will work for that phone.

Q: Does it come with a belt clip?

A: No it does not.

Q: Does the screen protector cover edge to edge?

A: No it does not. Mine doesn't even have the adhesive on the edges. You're better off tossing the screen protector that comes with this case and buying a Zagg. I highly recommend this phone case, just not the screen protector included.
