    Just works

    With so much new technology too many things don’t just work. This tv just works. Upgrades from a Samsung OLED that I was constantly screaming just work! Also got the sound bar, sub, and big surround speakers and the sound of the tv, soundbar, sub, and surround sound is epic. Ignored the sticker and laid the sub on its side under the couch and you can feel the gunshots and explosions.

    Longtime Sony owner. Replaced a 12yr ols 65" with this new 85" model, couldn't be happier, picture is amazing!

    Great Display

    Have been shopping around for a new TV for quite some time. I currently have an older model Bravia 75 inch that I was looking to replace. I wanted another Google TV but was open to other models depending on their quality and size and price. After looking around I just didn't like the web OS interface and the LG models were very nice but price didn't make sense. I ended up coming back to this Bravia set which I'm glad that I did. The picture quality is stunning to me for the price.

    The BRAVIA 7 II is a seriously impressive upgrade.

    My living room has been promoted to “the place where everyone watches one more episode.” I bought the 85-inch Sony BRAVIA 7 II, and it has made ordinary TV feel a little less ordinary. The screen is gloriously huge, and the True RGB picture gives colors real presence without making everything look like it’s been dipped in neon. Movies feel more cinematic, nature shows have me questioning whether the wildlife is visiting, and even the menu screen seems dressed for a premiere. Google TV with Gemini makes finding something to watch feel less like scrolling through an endless buffet and more like asking a very patient usher for directions. The only downside? My old “quick episode before bed” routine has become a feature-length negotiation with myself. If you want a TV that turns movie night into an event... and makes your previous TV screen feel like a postage stamp, the BRAVIA 7 II is a seriously impressive upgrade.

You can try switching to the Vivid picture mode, increasing the overall backlight brightness, or lowering the ambient light in the room by using curtains or adjusting nearby light sources. This particular model does not include specialized anti-reflection screen technology. If minimizing reflections is a primary priority for your viewing space, we recommend looking into the Sony BRAVIA 9 II instead.   • The Audio does not stay synced up wehter on the sound bar through arc or the tv speakers. I need to turn off a few times to get it functioning correctly?

  • Is it possible to completely remove google tv from the unit?

    Thank you for contacting Sony. It is not possible to completely remove the Google TV operating system from the K85XR70M2, but you can select Basic TV during setup to completely disable the smart interface and turn the unit into a traditional screen for your inputs.   • Does this thing have 4 HDMI 2.1 ports or not? I'm done waiting for Sony to catch up to the year 2020. I've been holding off buying a new TV for years because all my TV's are Sony but I'm done waiting. I'm not buying a splitter or a receiver update the TV.

    Only two HDMI 2.1 it has four HDMI inputs, but only two are HDMI 2.1. TV is amazing though pictures so clear. Everything looks 4K. Nobody beat Sony on that.
