A: I researched plenty before making my choice. I think the JBL has more voice and sound clarity but the Sony has the boom!!! The bigger size allows you to feel the bass much much more than the JBL. Just used it last week for Thanksgiving along with some karaoke and it was amazing. But nothing can relate to you going in person to hear it live. I recommend doing that. I felt like it needed to be a little louder.
