Q: I am looking for a sports lens for daytime football, leisure photography. I have a Canon Rebel T7i. Is this a wise choice.

A: I use the Canon T6i body with this lens for photographing both wildlife and baseball. I am very happy with the results. (Hobby photographer, not a pro)

Q: what makes this a full frame lens compared to the tamron 18-400mm . why is this full frame and aps-c and the 18-400mm only aps-c ? thanks !

A: Full frame lenses can be used on 'c' or full frame cameras. 'c' lenses can only be used on 'c' cameras. Full frame cameras are more of a professional style camera and more comparable to a 35mm camera. They have a larger area of view and a 'c' style lens will cause part of the picture to be rounded rather then oblong. Canon full frame cameras start with the EOS 5D and go up from there.
