A: Hello! This is a great question! What it comes down to really is your style of TV. For TVs standing on a base in the middle, this piece is great for up to 65". For those with legs on the ends, obviously, we wouldn't be able to utilize the overall width of the piece at 60". The top panel is 45" and would suppport up to a 50" TV. Hopefully that helps! A: Hi Mike, Thanks for your question! This TV stand requires full assembly. The bottom shelf has two sections. The smaller section measures 19" L x 15" W x 10.62" H. The bigger section measures 39.12" L x 15" W x 10.62H. The bigger section of the middle shelf measures 39" L x 15" W x 7.75" H. The open middle shelf measures 19" L x 15" W. A: Oh hello! Thank you for your question-- this piece is Laminate with high-grade MDF. In the traditional sense of refinishing, MDF furniture cannot be done (you cannot sand away the original finish and apply a coat of stain). However, if you're looking to paint, you can rough the Laminate surface with sand paper to get the primer and paint to adhere the properly. Hopefully this helps make your decision! Thank you!
