All the power I need, with the being able to use only the connections I need makes for the cleanest PC builds. Corsair is #1 in my opinion. Also this is super quite with a fan control knob on the back.

I was looking to upgrade my power supply in my prebuilt pc since I was fixing to upgrade my cpu (to a ryzen 7 9800x3d) and video card (to a 5070ti). I needed one that offered the wattage necessary (and the correct connector for the gpu) to run my new upgrades on top of everything else this pc has. This was the power supply I ended up choosing. It fits snugly in my pc’s basement and is mostly out of sight. The modular nature of the cabling was partially useful but since I needed almost every cable it did take some doing to keep the excess cable length tucked away. The cables themselves were easy enough to install (into the supply itself), mostly just bring matching the clearly labeled plugs into the clearly labeled ports. I won’t speak of ease of connecting everything to the motherboard and other accessories a pc may have as that’ll vary from pc case to case, motherboard to motherboard. It runs really quiet though this depends entirely on how high you have the fan turned up. It’s not overly noisy when turned all the way up but is quite noticeable. Thankfully I only need to turn it to maximum during the summer months. Normal fan speeds are almost whisper quiet. Finally, the wattage is more than enough for my needs as I am not currently running a 5080/5090. At no point in time have I experienced throttling due to not having enough power. It even comes with an on/off switch which could be handy. All in all this was a great purchase and I whole heartedly recommend it to anyone looking for more power but don’t need 1200 watts and has a pc case that it fits into.

It has all the power I need! So make sure it has all the power you need. Everyone needs their own power. Is 1000 power enough power for you? It's probably enough power for you. If it isn’t and this review is something you are depending on to see if it is enough power for you then it’s a sign you need to double-check how much power you need, because remember everyone needs their own power, and no one knows how much power you need but you. So check but this is probably plenty of power for most people. It’s quality power if it’s enough power.

Corsair with another super solid product. I purchased this when I bought my 5080, April 2025. With the increased power draw and new 12v power connector, I decided to upgrade to this from the corsair cxm750w. I have been fortunate to have everything in working order. I was impressed with the selection of included cables and appreciate the redundancy of some of the cords. The manual knob for fan speed at the back is a nice inclusion but ultimately gimmicky because of placement. Works wonderfully and keeps everything well fed even with some decent overclocking (cpu+gpu+memory) .
