Q: Does the answering machine identify the incoming telephone number of the caller?
A: It doesn't give me the phone number of the caller, I wish it did!!!
A: The machine monitors incoming calls. You can hear the caller and screen your calls, if you want.
Q: Is this answering machine compatible with older touch tone phones?
A: Yes, I use my answering machnes with an old touch tone phone!
A: This answering machine plugs into an existing wall phone jack , then a phone line goes from the machine and plugs into a telephone. The phone line that goes from the machine to the telephone is not included, however, there is a built in line connected to the machine that goes into the wall jack.
Q: Can I hear the message when it is being recorded to screen it by voice?
A: Yes, The voice comes out over the speaker while being recorded. Just as the old machines dod!. Very good for screening calls.
Q: Can this be set to pick up after 8 rings?
A: No. Maximum of 7 rings.
Q: Will this attach to any brand of phone.
A: Yes, this will attach to any brand as long as the phone is corded and doesn't have answering system.
