My Dad loved this movie!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this movie because it reminded me of when I watched it with my father in the 1980s. James Coburn is ice cold and Rod Steiger just knows how to act! Love this movie!

Leone's most underrated western
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Leone's other 4 big spaghetti westerns always get all the press, but this is a film that shouldn't be forgotten. It might not be THOSE films, but it's still a fantastic film that has its share of both entertaining and thought provoking elements. It's a nice bridge for the filmmaker between ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST and what would come over a decade later, ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA. This film NEEDS a top dollar restoration, but it's still an enjoyable experience on this blu and it has a ton of bonus material.

Great Find
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The final 'western' from acclaimed Director Sergio Leone is a definite must see for anyone interested in the politics of revolution, western films set at the turn of the 20th century, or just fans of really well made movies. The film stars James Coburn as the irish revolutionary John and Rod Steiger as mexican lowlife Juan. It was a thrill to see this on the shelves at Best Buy. I'd been looking for it all over town. If you really want to check out some great classic films check their racks first.
