Its A Good Projector But It Has Some Flaws
Ok so let me start by saying that i like this projector alot though i am going to point out its flaws. I purchased this projector to keep my kids entertained specially when there is a power outage which is why i was looking for a projector that had 1. A built in battery or 2. A USB Type C power connection to use an External Battery to power the projector on the USB Type C connector, however that is NOT possible unfortunately because the type of power connector it has but it does have a Built in battery. Lets talk about the battery: In the description and manufacturer website it states that there is a 15,000 mAh Battery for charging your devices via USB Type A and USB type C with the toggle switch put on (charging). Im not sure if the battery is internally installed as the only battery i see is the regular projector's battery that is a 14.8V 3650 mAh which is replaceable and that is used to power the projector ON when you switch the power toggle switch to (ON). that lower mAh battery explains why you only get 3 hours on Eco mode which does lower the brightness to what seems like 30% of its full power but still visible in a dark room, or 2 hours and 10 minutes on Standard mode which is about 60% brightness (Preffered) The full brightness mode is NOT available when using the battery for power but is available with the power adapter connected to it. Lets talk about the Resolution: The Resolution Is Excellent, i have a Oppo UDP-205 but was NOT able to use 4K 30fps via HDMI input as advertised im not sure what i was doing wrong but it would say no signal, perhaps its a copy protection issue. However if i change the OutPut Resolution on the Oppo UDP-205 to 1080P @ 60Fps it worked 100% and looked wonderful so keep that in mind when using HDMI via a Laptop or 4K player, i recommend using a standard 1080P bluray player or Roku In 1080P 60fps. Lets talk about the Micro SD card Slot and USB 2.0 Slot: the AAXA M7 only Accepts Micro SDHC cards at up to 32GB in format FAT32 and the same goes for USB 2.0 at 32GB at FAT32 with zero issues. The micro SD card needs to be inserted with the label facing down so the gold connectors are facing up when installing. The projector does NOT accept EXFAT or NTSC formated Micro SDXC or USB 2.0 at 64GB, if you try it, it will do nothing as if there was no SD card or USB connected. Unfortunately windows does NOT format anything higher then 32GB at FAT32, if you want that 64GB Micro SDXC or 64GB USB 2.0 thumb drive to work with your AAXA M7 for movies as advertised, You will Need to buy a 3rd party software like "EaseUs" that can convert Partitions from EXFAT/NTSC to FAT32. The manufacturer doesnt tell you that you need to pay for this software, i couldnt find this software free anywhere online. Also FAT32 format does not allow files like movies or music files larger then 4GB per movie or music albums etc so if you have a video converter software you will need to lower the bitrate and or frame rate to get your video or movie under 4GB Per Movie/File. Lets talk about what Type of movie format and Codec the AAXA M7 accepts with no issues: The AAXA M7 plays AVI movies (ONLY) It will NOT play MP4 or any other movie Format, the box does state that. what the manufacturer or owners manual does NOT tell you is that the projector only accepts One AVI Movie Codec out of two that are available and thats (Xvid+Mp3) for audio. it will NOT accept Divx+Mp3 so if you are wondering why your AAXA M7 says "Unsupported Format" when trying out the USB or Micro SD card feature its because the Codec needs to be "Xvid+Mp3". It took me some troubleshooting time to figure this out. Lets talk about the USB Type C mirroring Feature: I couldn't get this feature to work at all with my 2017 apple Ipad pro or my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 ultra, both devices just kept rapidly connecting and disconnecting multiple times till it would eventually stop and do nothing. I contacted the manufacturer but their advice failed to work, i also tried 4 different usb Type C cables and none of them worked. Lets talk about the 3.5mm AV jack, it does come with the cable and works great with older consoles like the N64, Sega Dreamcast etc, the resolution is not as good as it is with HDMI or Micro SD/USB 2.0 under 480P or higher for resolution but still enjoyable. Lets talk about the audio 3.5mm jack: The 3.5mm headphone jack worked great with a JBL Powered Bluetooth speaker connected direct with a 3.5mm cable and left the volume of the projector at 50% i heard zero distortion coming out of the speaker with the audio signal from the projector. Lets talk about the built in speakers: The speakers cannot handle the full volume of the projector and will get damaged and start to smell burnt. So keep the volume at 40% and you will NOT experience any distortion coming out of the little speakers, it wont sound too loud but you just cant expect those little things to sound good at louder volume. Lets talk about the packaging: Im not sure about anyone else here but my AAXA M7 arrived to me with the box not wrapped in any sealed plastic, im not sure if thats how these come but i though my projector was a used model and sold to me new. I never got a response from the manufacturer about how the M7s are shipped. The inside of the box looked fine and my speakers on my projector did smell like they were already blown, perhaps thats why i cant go past volume 40 without hearing clicky distortion..... The M7 does NOT have a Hour Counter for the Lamp Life so though it claims to last up to 30,000 hours, i have no idea how long mine will last. It also does not let you change shift the lens from left to right, it only allows you to tilt it forward or backwards so you may need to position your M7 slightly to the left or right to get the picture to look straight on the screen. Anyways overall i recommend this projector as it has a very nice and sharp picture quality with Digital Focus, its very bright and allows you to play movies via USB and micro Sd Card with its format limitations like mentioned above but for its price point its excellent! What made this a must have for me is the built in battery, thats a BIG value! That alone outways the calibration limitations of this projector. This projector can be used outside, inside a Van or RV or if your power ever goes out due to weather conditions, you can watch a movie while you wait for your power to be restored..... well, as long as its restored under the 3 hour limit. I am sharing some pics, the one showing the projector being ON is with a 100" 16:9 screen with the M7 about 9ft 7 inches away from the front of the projector screen. I hope my review was helpful.

Very Bright Small Projector.
This is a great, small, light weight projector. Although it can run on its internal battery, in order to get the brightest light you must plug it in. Once you do, the light is very bright and works well in a well lit room. I do wish it had adjustable leveling and elevation legs, but that’s my only criticism.

Hidden Restocking fee
Product performs as described. Problem is the return policy. I ordered it online, when I received I discovered it was not Bluetooth capable. I tried to return it at BestBuy. They were going to charge a $74 restocking fee. This was not explained anywhere online. Projector was fine but not what I thought it was, restocking fee should be advertised better.
